ELECTRICAL THERAPY FOR PAINFUL AND HARD-TO-HEAL WOUNDS

Accel-Heal Solo is an electrical stimulation device that provides targeted therapy for hard-to-heal and painful wounds, including leg ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers and pressure ulcers.

One single Accel-Heal Solo device delivers an automatic, pulsed electrical stimulation throughout a pre-programmed 12-day treatment programme. The pulses are below the threshold for sensory stimulation which means that patients should not typically feel them, yet they are strong enough to trigger the cellular responses needed to kick-start the healing process.

A wearable device, Accel-Heal Solo is discreet and does not hinder the patient’s mobility. Design improvements including longer wires and an optional clip and strap now enable easier placement and facilitate the treatment of larger wounds and wounds in hard-to-reach areas. The therapy can be easily managed by the patient themselves, or their carer, in the comfort of their own home.
