We are delighted to see Accel-Heal feature in the first edition of Wounds Masterclass, the new journal bringing advice from world renowned wound care specialists to professionals around the world.
We are delighted that this first edition, titled “Stimulating Healing in the Challenging Wound”, explores the role of electrical stimulation therapy (EST) in wound healing in a featured paper.
This new paper by Ms Liz Ovens, independent tissue viability specialist nurse, demonstrates how EST has a unique and combined effect of reducing wound pain and stimulating healing, as well as demonstrating how EST is one of the most evidence-based technologies in wound management today.
The paper also introduces Accel-Heal Solo, a new, single-use, automated EST device and presents the significant impact Accel-Heal has for patients in reducing pain, accelerating wound healing and improving quality of life. It also shows just how easy it is to embed the therapy into everyday clinical practice.
