The use of innovative technologies for transforming and improving clinical outcomes and reducing costs in the NHS was an integral component of the NHS Five Year Forward View (2014). The use of electroceutical treatment has been demonstrated to both improve patient outcomes and reduce costs to the NHS for the management of chronic wounds.
