Is it safe to use ? Has it any side effects?
Accel-Heal® carries the CE mark, having been tested and approved by Notified Body 0120. It is certified as a Class IIA devices under the medical directive 93/42/EEC and has full Medical Devices Directive approval under ISO 13485:200 establishing safety and approval to launch in the European markets. There are no side effects.
How do I know my if unit is working?
Once you have pressed the ON button down for 2 seconds, the green ON light/LED will begin to flash from underneath the front cover of your unit on the left hand side.
My unit will not turn on. What should I do?
In the unlikely event that your unit will not activate, please make sure you have pressed the button down for 2 seconds to see if it turns on. This is indicated by a green light flashing through the front cover of your unit on the left hand side. If this light does not begin to flash, please contact customerservices@synapsemicrocurrent.com and we will look into resolving the problem for you.
The green 'ON light/LED on my product is flashing quickly, more than once every 2 seconds. What is happening?
When there is poor contact between the conducting electrode pads and the skin, the green light/LED flashes more quickly at a rate of twice per second. Remedy: clean the skin and reapply or use fresh electrode pads.
How many uses does Accel-Heal have?
The Accel-Heal product -is single use with a 48hour programme for it's single use.
What is Accel-Heal?
Accel-heal is the name used to name the Synapse complicated wound micro-current unit. The Accel-heal - accelerated healing, is not an experimental unit, it has got full Medical Devices approval so it is a registered medical device.
Are the treatment parameters in the wound healing device the same as in the other Synapse micro-current products?
No they are not, they are quite different. A tendon cell will behave differently for example to a bone cell, to a skin cell and Synapse has patented those particular applications that they are appropriate to be used in a clinical setting. All of Synapse devices are medically registered devices so they are not experimental devices.
